🌿🐴 Stable Ground: A Self-Esteem Group for Middle Schoolers 🐴🌿

Building Confidence from the Barn Up 

Program Overview: 

Stable Ground: Rooted & Rising is a 6-week experiential program designed to help youth build confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience through hands-on interaction with horses, farm life, and their own mind-body connection.

This program goes beyond traditional talk-based groups by integrating:

• Equine-assisted learning
  
  

• Meaningful farm responsibilities
  
  

• Mindfulness, movement, and nervous system regulation
  
  

• Guided reflection and connection

Participants will not only learn skills, they will experience them in real time, helping these lessons stick in a way that carries into everyday life. 

🐴 What Kids Will Do:

Unlike traditional groups, this experience allows participants to:

1. Build confidence by doing hard things and succeeding

2. Learn to regulate emotions through body-based tools

3. Develop responsibility through real-life tasks that matter

4. Improve communication and boundaries in a safe, supportive space

5. Experience connection with animals, peers, and themselves 

📍 Location: Red Bird Cottage and Farm, Eustis Fl

👧 Ages: 8-18 

📅 Dates: Starts June 

We will run Three groups:

• 8-12 years of age Monday from 8:00am- 10am

• 12-15 years of age Monday from 10:30am-12:30pm

• 15-18 years of age Wednesdays from  9:00am -11:00am

💲 Cost:  $600 per student. $200 deposit required to hold your spot  Early Bird Special $550

👩‍⚕️ Led by: A licensed Clinical Social Worker, Kristen Janica, and Nationally Certified Counselor and Equine Specialist  Alisha Casamona, who both have a passion for helping kids thrive through hands-on learning.
