Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy is a gentle, therapeutic approach to yoga designed to support healing after stress or trauma by prioritizing safety, choice, and nervous system regulation.
Rather than focusing on poses or performance, this approach centers on how it feels to be in your body. Sessions are guided in a way that helps clients build awareness, stability, and a sense of control—especially important for anyone who has experienced trauma, grief, chronic stress, or emotional overwhelm.
At its core, Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy:
Emphasizes choice and empowerment (you’re always invited, never directed)
Uses slow, accessible movement, breathwork, and grounding practices
Supports regulation of the nervous system, helping shift out of fight, flight, or freeze
Encourages mindful awareness without forcing emotional processing
Creates a safe, non-judgmental environment that honors personal boundaries
Because trauma is often stored in the body, Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy works somatically—helping clients gently reconnect with physical sensations, movement, and breath in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. This process can increase self-trust, emotional resilience, and a sense of calm over time.
Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy can be helpful for individuals experiencing:

It can be offered one-on-one or in small groups and is often integrated alongside traditional mental health counseling. When practiced in nature or supportive environments, it can further enhance feelings of grounding, connection, and safety.
This is designed to support relaxation, improve mobility, and promote overall well-being through guided therapeutic movement and breathwork.
Group Sessions – Sunrise or Sunset Yoga: $25
Gentle, grounding group experiences designed to foster connection, regulation, and presence while surrounded by nature.
These group sessions are held in a peaceful outdoor setting overlooking a beautiful, serene lake, with horses grazing quietly. The natural surroundings offer a calming, grounding presence, inviting you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive and soothing environment.

Individual One-on-One Session (45 minutes): $95
A personalized, trauma-informed session focused on supporting nervous system regulation, embodiment, and gentle healing at your own pace.
Intake Session individual sessions only: $150
The intake session is a meaningful first step in our work together. This time allows us to get to know you, explore your intentions and goals, and thoughtfully create a supportive plan for your individual sessions. (only needed for individual sessions)
Add on to your current 60 minute therapy session
**You can enhance your current service by adding to your session a 30 minute Yoga Therapy add on for $50.
